His personal story, including recovery from two life altering accidents that left him temporarily paralyzed and permanently scarred from burns over two thirds of his body, is truly inspirational. These personal challenges have provided him a heartwarming insight into working closely with children and families to discover the healing benefits of animal supported therapy.
Charlie Petrizzo can not only provide the breeder/exhibitor with an excellent example of the Borador line, but thru his experience and education he can also provide the average "pet" family a well trained, extraordinary Labrador Retriever. Pups 10-12 weeks old or fully trained and maturing pups of several months of age can be obtained. CANINE ART: Dogs of all breeds are her speciailty, too. Many of her dog paintings are commissioned art pieces. WILDLIFE ART: Helga supports the Takhi-Project with 20% of the sales revenue of her paintings and drawings of Takhis (Przewalski horses).THE PAINTING STYLE: The classic elegance of her painting style and the portrayal of mood and atmosphere are important elements of her work. Helga´s oils were painted in a realistic style by using subdued, elegant colors. Luminous paintings where achieved by building up transparent glazes. Oil paint is her medium of choice for its richness, depth and variety of colors it can produce. Other mediums she utilize are acrylic, charcoal and pastel.
